The blessed fruits of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. 1. They are seen in the heart. Making melody. "It is to the Lord" and this speaks of the heart being moved to lve and rejoice in the Saviour. Gal5:22-- first fruit of the Spirit. 2. They are seen in the mouth. Speech is holy and happy. 3. They are seen in the disposition. Thankful -- always, all things. 4. They are seen in the knowledge enjoyed. Blessing is seen as coming from the Father through the Lord Jesus and communicated by the Holy Spirit. 5. They are seen in a spirit of submission. This verse leads on to a further dimension of the fruit of the Spirit in the life of the believer as set out in the rest of the chapter.

III. THE BLESSED FRUITS OF THE INFILLING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. Heart. Making melody.

2. Mouth. Speech holy and happy.

3. Disposition. Thankful -- always, all things.

4. Knowledge. Father through Jesus is seen as the source of our blessings.

5. Submission.
