What are we to look for as we wait for Christ's return? "So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand," Luke 21:31. (Preached in Penticton FPC, Lord's Day morning, September 11th, 2011.) Christ given us signs that will signal His approaching return. If He has given us these signs to watch for, how it behoves us to study them and acquaint ourselves with them most intimately. There are three particular developments, closely linked, which the Saviour says will mark the close of this age. They are: 1. Increasing wickedness in the world. 2. Spreading apathy amongst believers. 3. Deepening apostasy within Christendom.
