We will be considering the Messiah's manifestation today. He will show Himself as the One long sought, long desired, verse 1. In truth, Christ is ever the One sought by His faithful people. Ever since the first prophecy of the Redeemer in Gen 3:15, God's people have been waiting for His mercy. The Hebrews in Egypt looked for the fulfilment of Gen 15:13-14. Daniel looked for the fulfilment of Jeremiah 29:10 (Daniel 9:2-3). So it has ever been. We are the people who constantly "wait upon the Lord", Isa 40:31. Who is there amongst us who are not waiting upon the Lord to come amongst us in revival blessing upon His work?
