TASTING CHRIST -- Psalm 34:8. Preached in Clogher Valley Free Presbyterian Church morning service, by Rev Ivan Foster. (First preached in a Gospel Mission in the village of Trillick, 2 miles from Kilskeery in March 1993.) In verse 6, the Psalmist gives his testimony. "This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles," Psalm 34:6. How gloriously simple is God's way of salvation -- A CALL. As he testifies of God's goodness, the Psalmist considers others and pleads with them earnestly in verse 8. "O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him."
