Faithful preaching - the need of the hour within the Free Presbyterian Church of Ulster. "Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD'S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD'S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word," Jeremiah 26:2. (A message preached by Rev Ivan Foster in Gilford FPC) The Lord sent His loyal and obedient servant to confront the people of Judah with their sins and disobedience. Furthermore, Jeremiah was to preach every word given Him by God and not diminish the message at all. He was to go to the temple, that place where they would have felt themselves to be more blameless than anywhere else in the land. He was to so speak as to shake the people out of their complacency with regards the state into which they had sunk. It is time that the Free Presbyterian Church was likewise faced up with the state into which it has declined.
