The departure from obedience to God regarding the worship of God will inevitably lead to breaches in a right relationship with our neighbours. A breaking of the first table of the law will bring about a breaking of the second table of the law. In Malachi's day, the marriage relationship was under attack and the Lord condemned the husbands for their violation of their marriage vows. Such a situation prevails today and requires God's servants to faithfully deal with the issue in the light of God's Word.
