(Preached in Newtownabbey FPC at the evening service) "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure," Isaiah 46:9-10. Some might believe that it is folly to stare into the future and try and anticipate what will happen amongst the nations. If such a study is folly then the folly began with the Lord Who revealed these things to us and commanded us to give consideration of what He said.
