Nicodemas journey from darkness to daylight - Part 2 John 3:1-21, 7:45-53 & 19:38-42. (Preached in Newtownabbey FP Church, July 11th at the evening service. The recording of the first part of the message, preached at the morning service in Newtownabbey, was unfortunately corrupted and unusable) Few individuals that we are introduced to in the Gospels have more than one mention. Of course the disciples of Christ are an exception to this but the hundreds who were saved, healed, blessed as a result of encountering the blessed Son of God appear on the gospel stage briefly and then fade away. Nicodemus was an exception. He is mentioned three times. Each reference presents us with a stage of the journey that God took this man on as he was drawn out of darkness in to the light of salvation. We will consider the second and third references to Nicodemas in this message.
