HELP FOR THE HELPLESS O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help, Hosea 13:9. (Preached in Newtownabbey Free Presbyterian Church) The opening portion of this text reveals that man is a destroyer of himself. Basically: A) Men rebelliously insist in walking in the way that leads to destruction. B) Men stubbornly refuse to use the means God has devised for our escape. From man we turn to the Lord. "In me is thine help."
