40th anniversary of the start of Coragarry FPC After being introduced by Rev Larry Power, minister of Coragarry Free Presbyterian Church, Rev Ivan Foster, who was the evangelist during the mission in 1971 out of which the work in Coragarry sprang, preached upon the text: "Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent," Revelation 2:4-5. The letter to the church at Ephesus is particularly applicable to us here today for it was sent to the church just about 40 years after it was founded. It had a commendable record in many matters, but Christ chided them on one matter - their love for Him!
