It was not the sight of the angel that impressed Paul but the message he delivered. The Word of God alone ought to be the basis of our hope and our actions. Paul speaks of himself in this verse and in so doing sets forth two important factors in a true Christians testimony. Paul was the Lord's property and as such he served Him.
