We turn from the subject of God's love for His people to the contempt shown to God by His people, especially the priests, those appointed of God to judge in holy things. It is a challenge to the rulers of God's people on the matter of their dishonouring of Him. If rulers need such a rebuke as is here delivered, what hope is there of the nation walking in holiness and uprightness!
