Our subject is the contempt shown to God by His people, especially the priests, those appointed of God to judge in holy things. It is a challenge to the rulers of God's people on the matter of their dishonouring of Him. God would have His people honour Him. This is His due. Today we consider the honour due to Him as our Master. We should show "fear" - a proper terror of the Lord. How far this is removed from modern Christianity!
