Gog and Magog Ezekiel 36:1-7. There will be nations which will never whole-heartedly submit to Christ's rule during the Millennial reign. That is demonstrated by the events of Rev 20:7-8. "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea." These nations will be as Judas Iscariot. He appeared to be as obedient and submissive as the other apostles but in truth he was not. So it will be with some nations. This act of rebellion in Revelation 20:7-8, is not the first by those nations which lie to the north of Israel and are referred to under the title God and Magog. Ezekiel 38-39 give us details of their first rebellion and attack upon Israel which takes place in the early stages of the Millennium. As ever, we must first seek to establish the time referred to in Ezekiel 38-39. To do that we first turn to chapters 36-37. These chapters record prophecies regarding Israel's recovery and regeneration and re-establishing her in her own land at the return of Christ.
