My testimony Soldiers of the Cross Orange Hall Mission (12th April 2017)
"He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see," John 9:25.
I always think of this verse whenever I think of my own conversion to Christ. Like this man, I was BLIND. I was a BEGGAR. He was both BOLD and BLUNT!
I very much like this man. He acknowledged his own ignorance but boldly declared what he did know.
As the years go by, one's memory of the events surrounding one's conversion may dim but one thing never dims and that is the memory of the actual encounter with Christ.
Paul illustrates that for us on the three occasions his testimony is recorded. Acts 9:3 (AD 37). Acts 22:6 (AD 58). Acts 26:13 (AD 60). The memory of the glory he witnessed became brighter as the years went by.
