What is the Lake of Fire? Rev 20:14-15. (Preached in Tavistock FPC) What a subject we have before us! I will surely need the help of the Mighty to deal with this subject as it ought. No subject is less thought of than this. Its nature discourages meditation even among the godly. None of us wish to contemplate the eternal destiny of the sinner, especially when many of our loved ones and neighbours are on the road that leads to this dreadful place. However, we must deal with this matter. The Lord Jesus set the example by speaking of the future punishment of the wicked more than the future bliss of the saved. Love requires us to speak out in warning and clearly tell of the dreadful place to which sinners are going. Let us consider then, What is the Lake of Fire?
