Where have we gone astray?A question for FPsRev. Ivan Foster · Sunday - PMRevelation 2:4 · Sun Jan 7, 2007
An honest appraisal of just where the FPC of Ulster stands at present will cause the candid Christian to acknowledge that there has been a very evident forsaking of the old paths upon which we once travelled. 1. A spirit of worldliness in dress, conduct and worship is evident. 2. There is a greater tolerance of ecumenical denominations and those believers who have disobediently remained within them. 3. There is a more tolerant attitude toward the wickedness of this age as was evidenced in the compromise of some FP members who hold district council seats and who refused to oppose sodomy as it should have been in the district councils last year. 4. The acceptance in principle by some FPs of a political coalition between the DUP and Sinn Fein/IRA murderers. All of these attitudes and positions would have been utterly abhorred by the leadership and membership of the FPC just a few short years ago. How has this come about?
