"A lesson in happiness for the F P Church in 2008" "Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD," Psalm 144:15. The "case" of the people that the psalmist David is referring to is that of being surrounded in all of their circumstances by the goodness and mercy of the Lord. Happiness is a commodity much sought after and rarely obtained. The possession of it is often announced only for it to be realised all too soon that what was really possessed was a sham and a counterfeit. In our text we are told about true happiness, who it is possesses it, wherein it consists and where it is to be obtained.
