No Surrender, No Compromise -- the cry of Ulster Protestants today.

"And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee," 1 Kings 21:3.

(A message preached in Kilskeery on 23rd March 1986).

Paul the apostle tells us all in Romans 12:18: "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."

That is the requirement laid upon every Christian citizen.

However, Paul, in that text, makes it clear that there are times when we cannot live at peace with all men. In order to do so would require us to surrender that liberty which God had given us.

Here in Northern Ireland, we have been told by our government that we must accept the Anglo/Irish Agreement entered upon by London and Dublin without the least consultation with the Protestant citizens of this land.

On such an occasion as this we must act as did Naboth and refuse to part with our heritage.

It is time to say "No Surrender, No Compromise"!
