Mrs A J Foster went to be with the Lord at 9.00 pm on Friday 30th November, aged 99 years and 5 months. She died peacefully, without suffering and triumphantly in Christ and joined her husband who went to be with Christ 16 years ago. This afternoon, family, friends and neighbours gathered in her late residence, the home of her son, the Free Presbyterian manse in Kilskeery. At the service her Saviour was honoured and His gospel claims proclaimed and His mercy to an aged saint extolled. The family would like to thank all those who send words of sympathy by letter, e-mail and the telephone along with all those who attended the funeral services. The kindness shown was very much appreciated. We would like also to thank Rev Alan Smylie and his church for the use of the catering facilities of Ballygowan FP Church. The facilities were very welcome given the inclement weather conditions at the graveside.
