The Return of the Lord Jesus The saints will reign with Christ for 1000 years. This is the beginning of the Millennial Reign of Christ. Verse 4, Dan 2:44. The 1000 years means just that. God repeats this measurement of time 6 times in 7 verses and who is it would dare to say that it is not truly 1000 years that is referred to?? Daniel 2:34, 44 indicates to us that the establishing of the Saviour's rule over the earth is a progressive matter. I do not believe that it will take long but His rule is not established in a moment or instantaneously when He returns. The glorified saints play a part in the establishing of His Kingdom Will be continued.
