Christ's humiliation in His incarnationThe birth of Christ · part 10 of 25Rev. Andy Foster · Sun Dec 24, 2006Philippians 2:7-8 · Sunday Service

The incarnation of Christ was the first component of what we refer to as Christ's state of humiliation. His descent from glory to take into union with His deity true humanity and to be made in the likeness of men involved great condescension of humiliation. Yet willingly and lovingly Christ took flesh, took on the form of a servant and appeared as a man among men.
