The Shepherds' eagerness to get to bethlehem to see Christ demonstrates the desire that God places within the heart of the sinner at salvation. In response to the goepl message revealed from heaven men are stirred to go 'with haste' to personally encounted the Saviour. What a desire this is! It will not be denied and it is a desire that every true child of God knows by personal experience.
