I. THE GLORIOUS RESULTS AMONGST THE PEOPLE

2. He endorsed the message of Jonah.Vs 7-8. His proclamation. The sins for which Nineveh was known and to which she later returned, Nahum 3:1.

3. The faith displayed. Verse 9.

4. The fervent prayer offered.Verse 8.

5. There can be no doubts about these converts for the Saviour Himself endorsed their conversion.“The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here,” Matthew 12:41.
