Today the Rev Ivan Foster starts a new chapter in "The Mark's Gospel Series." In the opening verses of this chapter we find the Lord being surrounded by a critical crowd of Scribes and Pharisees. These Scribes and Pharisees are rebuked by the Lord (the Lord using His Word). The Lord condemns them for making the Word of God of none effect, for judging by their own standards, and not the standard of the Bible.
