We have been considering the four levels of the administering of discipline within the congregation. In this study we are thinking of the third level. When discipline is exercised, the whole membership is obligated to support it. It was so in the Old Testament, Deut 21:18-21, and it shall be so in the days of the Saviour's reign, Zech 13:1-3. All the church reverenced the Lord following the death of Anninias and Sapphira. None rebelled against the judgment. Acts 5:11. They saw it as being of God and feared.
