This is the third message on Paul's exhortation to husbands. So far we have considered the three-fold description of the husband's love for his wife. We then considered the expression of a husband's love and dealt with one point under that heading -- As Christ provides for the welfare of the church so must the husband provide for his wife. There are two other points under that heading which are dealt with in this message. 1. Constant companion. 2. Bears her in mind at all times. The message concludes with some considerations under the heading -- The edffect of a husband's love. 1. It will promote and strengthen the love of the wife. 2. It will cause an overlooking of faults. 3. It will make the marriage bond indissoluable.
