There is a wonderful contrast set forth between the stout words of the proud Israelites Malachi was confronting and the humble words of the God-fearing remnant in the land. God was grieved with the stout words of the wicked who,despite their sinful rebellion, believed they served God acceptably. Today we will consider the words of the remnant of God-fearing believers and the terms in which God speaks of them.
