An old signpost consulted again "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" Acts 16:30. (Preached in Kelowna, BC, Canada) This scene is, in my opinion, second only to the scene at Calvary, where the dying thief cried out for salvation, for its instructiveness, clarity and poignancy. It is a drama that grips the mind and heart. It vividly traces the story of this jailer's journey from death to life, from Satan to Christ. I have often wondered just how many were liberated from the death-cell of sin by the story of this man's conversion. Tonight, we look again at this familiar scene and wonder afresh at the infinite mercy and grace of God toward sinners.
