A marriage made in heaven (Preached in Lewes FPC) We are here introduced to one of the principal characters of the book of Ruth -- Boaz. Indeed, it might be said that he is the chief character in the story for he is a type of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is through him that Ruth enters upon a prosperous and secure life and becomes one of the progenitors of the Lord Jesus. The honour that Ruth entered upon was as a result of her union with Boaz.
