"Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not," Ezekiel 9:9. This notion of God not seeing us is one that springs up especially in times of apostasy and rebellion. Our chapter is an example of what I say. As the light of truth declines and man becomes ever more ignorant of the revelation of God given in His Word, there is an entertaining of all sorts of notions and myths regarding the power, the omniscience of God. Only the blood of Christ makes our sins invisible to God.
