Detaining Christ in our midst (Part 2) "And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them," Luke 4:42. In the first part of this message we considered the marks of a day of Christ's visitation amongst a people. In this second part we will consider two points: 1. The manifestation of the gratitude that should be shown by a people so visited by Christ - they should seek to prolong His visit amongst them. 2. The means that should be employed to prolong such a visit by Christ.
