Since the beginning of the new school year in September 2015, Rev Foster has been speaking at two morning assembly meetings each week. His theme for 2015-16 is DV, "Pictures of Christ in the Bible." Moses the eighth picture of Christ There was one very important and very great difference between Moses and the Saviour and that was in the manner in which they responded to the undertaking God set before them regarding the delivering of His people! Moses was most reluctant to go at God's command. "And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?" Exodus 3:1. "And Moses said unto the LORD, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue. . . . . "And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses," Exodus 4:10, 14. Note the Lord's anger with Moses. Now the Saviour never showed any such reluctance. "Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart," Psalms 40:6-8. "Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work," John 4:34.
