There was a fault in this recording and only half of the audio was mounted but we have recovered the second half of the recording. We apologise for its inferior quality. Ivan Foster. "His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives" Zechariah 14:4 (Coragarry FPC, March 4th, 2015) This is a day when the words of the angels to the apostles will come to pass. "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey," Acts 1:11-12. Christian you can rely on every word in this book! Every promise will be fulfilled most gloriously, most literally. Joshua's dying words were: " . . . and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof," Joshua 23:14. This may be said of ALL of God's promises, irrespective of how impossible their fulfilment may appear to us. "As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:16. There is a great danger that when we do not understand something we try to twist it to suit our notions, to fit in with our limited understanding!! This is especially so with prophecy.
