"Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value; and gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me," Matthew 27:9-10. This message was preached some time ago in Kilskeery and preached again in Sixmilecross Free Presbyterian Church prior to the communion service this Lord's Day. It deals with the low value that men place upon Christ, the worthlessness of that which men trade for Christ and the fact that God's infallible word will be fulfilled to the letter.
