Since the beginning of the new school year in September 2015, Rev Foster has been asked to speak at two morning assembly meetings each week. His theme for 2015-16 is DV, "Pictures of Christ in the Bible." Seventh Picture of Christ - Joseph Genesis 45:1-5 Four wonderful likeness to events in Joseph's day and the end of this age. The wonderful revelation of Joseph to his brothers - a picture of a coming glorious day. The lie and denial about what happened to Joseph was maintained until the day of reconciliation between Joseph and his family. Then came to revealing of Joseph to his brothers. It came from Joseph. His brothers did not recognise him. "Then Joseph could not refrain himself before all them that stood by him; and he cried, Cause every man to go out from me. . . . I am Joseph; doth my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him; for they were troubled at his presence. And Joseph said unto his brethren, Come near to me, I pray you. And they came near. And he said, I am Joseph your brother, whom ye sold into Egypt. Now therefore be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves, that ye sold me hither: for God did send me before you to preserve life," Genesis 45:1-5. There is an interesting comment by Stephen about this meeting in Acts. "And at the second time Joseph was made known to his brethren; and Joseph's kindred was made known unto Pharaoh," Acts 7:9-13. So it will be at the second coming of the Lord Jesus. Please read Zechariah 12-14, especially 12:9-14, 14:4-5. What a day of revelation and reconciliation between the rejected Messiah and His and His ancient, erring people.
