CENTRAL TO THE RETURN OF CHRIST IS THE CONVERSION OF ISRAEL We return to the topic we were looking at in our last study THE CONVERSION OF ISRAEL AS SET OUT BY PAUL IN ROMANS 11. In Romans 11:12, 15, Paul speaks of their 'fall' and 'diminishing' and their 'casting away' but he also speaks of their 'fulness', their 'receiving'. There is to be a restoration of Israel, a reversal of their present circumstances and a return to God's favour. He also uses the metaphor of a gardener's method of grafting in a branch as an illustration of what God is going to do again with Israel, Rom 11:23-24. That is what we will consider today.
