“And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast,” Luke 2:42.

Girls and boys, we are going to start a new series of Bible studies this morning. I have entitled it ‘Children in the gospels who met the Lord Jesus’. 

Boys & girls - 

1. The Lord Jesus understands very well you all for He grew up through childhood just like you.

2. The Lord Jesus has a word for you in the Bible. Here is an example, Ephesians 6:1-3.

3. Children were always at ease in His presence. None ran away from Him as they would from a stranger.  

4. The Lord has always had a place for youngster in His purpose and plans. Moses, Samuel, David, little maid (2 Kings 5), Jeremiah, John the Baptist (Luke 1:15).

5. There will be a place for boys and girls in the future plans of the Lord. At the time of Christ’s Millennial reign (Isaiah 11:6).
